I am contacting you today to let you know about an important development. Due to a recent legislative change, you may now be eligible for an additional $2,000 in Federal Unsubsidized Stafford Loan monies.

If you would like to receive this additional $2,000, you must notify the Office of Financial Aid via e-mail at finaid@iit.edu so that we may review your eligibility. Please make sure to include both your full name and student (Banner) ID number, which begins with the letter "A," in your e-mail. You do not need to contact your lender nor do you need to complete an additional master promissory note.
