As part of our ongoing commitment to welcome you to the IIT community, we are sending you this short note to let you know that we are readily available to answer any remaining questions that you might have regarding admission, financial aid, housing, etc.

We are able to respond to your questions by phone at 312.567.3025 and 800.448.2329 (toll-free) or by email to admission@iit.edu, including on weekends by email.

We would also like to let you know that on-campus housing is still available.  What are the benefits of living on the IIT campus, you ask?

Top 10 Reasons for Living on Campus:

  1. Clean and convenient laundry rooms are available throughout McCormick Student Village (MSV), State Street Village (SSV) and Gunsaulus Hall.

  2. There's no need to move furniture — MSV, SSV and Gunsaulus Hall come fully furnished!

  3. The Commons Cafeteria and Keating Sports Center can be right outside your door!

  4. Experienced residence hall staff members are available after hours and during weekends.

  5. You will always know about new and fun activities because they are posted throughout the residence halls.

  6. You will have easy and discounted access to the CTA Green and Red Lines, which means easy access to Chicago's attractions!

  7. On-campus housing is close to academic classrooms and the library.

  8. There will be no need for monthly rent and/or utility payments — room and board is billed once a semester; all utilities are included, even wireless internet and cable TV!

  9. An amazingly diverse community of students creates a unique living atmosphere.

  10. Living on campus is the best way to make the most of your IIT experience!

If we can assist you or your family in any way over the course of the coming months, just let us know.

We very much look forward to seeing you on campus in the fall!

Sincerely,

Gerald P. Doyle
