We have received your enrollment acknowledgement form; we are very pleased to welcome you as a student of the Illinois Institute of Technology!

Your decision is an occasion for celebration to us.  You and your classmates will join students from every U.S. state and over 90 countries.  You bring to this community a multitude of talents, years of determination, and limitless creativity and intellect.  We look forward to and anticipate the contributions that you will make as a student.  Certainly, IIT will be a richer place because of your presence here.

As an IIT student, there are a few essentials to take care of before you start classes.  Most of those essentials have been included in a package that we provided to you.  For your convenience, here are links to some of those materials:

Other essentials were mailed to you in a package.  We hope those "fun essentials" reached you well. (Students currently residing outside the U.S. will receive their package upon arrival on campus.)  We included a version of one of our favorite books in the package: Not for Tourists Guide to Chicago.  This is the perfect book for everyone—from locals looking to get to know their neighborhood better to those newcomers about to encounter their first Chicago winter.  You will have the lowdown on food, transportation and neighborhood life in Chicago.  IIT is even mentioned in the guide.  Enjoy!

As always, if you have any questions regarding our forms, or any other issue, please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admission at 312.567.3025, 800.448.2329 (toll-free), or admission@iit.edu.

I look forward to seeing you on campus, and personally welcoming you to the IIT community.

Sincerely,

Gerald P. Doyle
