Dear %%First Name%%,

Greetings; in this fourth congratulatory email I wish to share information that answers common questions being directed to our Office of Undergraduate Admission.

  • Enrollment Deadlines

Questions that we have been frequently receiving are in regards to the upcoming enrollment deadlines.

National Candidate's Reply Date: May 1, 2010 — First-year, domestic students should make note of the National Candidate's Reply Date.  By this date, you would want to have notified colleges of your decision to enroll if you have not yet done so.

IIT's June 15th Deadline — Transfer students and international students who have not replied to their admission offer should notify IIT of their decision to enroll by June 15, 2010.

To accept your enrollment at IIT, you can complete the Reply to Offer of Admission (enrollment) form online, or you can send us the enrollment form included in the 'Welcome Packet' sent to you via postal mail after you have completed it.  If you need more time to inform us of your enrollment decision, please let us know.

    • After completing the enrollment form, remember to submit your enrollment deposit online through your myIIT account — detailed instructions on how to do so can be found by going here.

    • You can log in to your myIIT account by going to my.iit.edu and using the following information:

Username: your UID (find it here)
      Initial Password: MMDDXXXX,

where MMDD is the 2-digit Month and 2-digit Day you were born; and XXXX is the last 4 digits of your 9-character Campus-Wide student ID (CWID) number, which begins with the letter "A".

  • It's not too late for financial aid.

We wish to inform you that it is not too late to be considered for need-based financial aid monies.  If you have not yet filed a FAFSA, you should do so as soon as possible, listing IIT (Title IV Code: 001691) as a school choice.

We welcome your calls to discuss your financial aid options.  Please contact Ryan Nelson, Financial Aid Relationship Specialist, at nelsonr@iit.edu or 312-567-5192 for more information.

  • Visit Main Campus!

We are still accepting visitors!  If you would like to see if IIT is the right place for you, contact Maggie Fraga, Visit & Program Coordinator, at fragam@iit.edu or 312-567-5189 to schedule a visit.

  • On-Campus Housing Scholarship

On-campus housing is still available and guaranteed throughout your time as an undergraduate student at the university.  Please note that every new, full-time student who enters for Fall 2010 will be awarded a $1,500.00 Housing Scholarship for on-campus housing.  Please get in contact with your admission counselor for additional information regarding this new scholarship initiative established to support students and their families afford the vast array of educational opportunities at IIT.

If we can assist you or your family in any way, please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admission at 312-567-3025, 800-448-2329 (toll-free), or admission@iit.edu.

Sincerely,

Gerald P. Doyle
