Dear Colleague,
In order to serve you and your students better throughout the admission cycle, IIT is pleased to announce the introduction of an Early Action deadline program. Gathering information from counselors, teachers, students and families, we heard that an Early Action would allow our students and their families additional time to work with the University as they plan to enroll at IIT.
- Students and families will have more time to meet with their faculty advisors to learn in greater detail about the rich academic, research, and internship opportunities at IIT.
- IIT counselors in the Office of Financial Aid will have several months to develop individual and comprehensive financial plans with families.
We understand that this change is new for many of you. We want you to know that as you work with your seniors, their teachers who are preparing letters of recommendation, and your staff as you prepare to send materials to IIT, we are certainly understanding in terms of the Early Action I deadline. Again, Our goal is to develop an admission process which serves you and your students best.
