Research

There are a number of outstanding research opportunities available for IIT undergraduates. All students are guaranteed to participate in or run an actual research project while at IIT, meaning real-world, practical experience before graduation.

Why choose Psychology at IIT?

At IIT, you can create a customized educational experience in a distinctly personal psychology program that offers you choices for your future, including accelerated M.S. degrees as well as pre-med and honors law options.

Rest assured that you will be well-prepared to achieve your goals with our unique research-based, human-behavior-oriented B.S. program that blends the strengths of highly successful graduate programs in Clinical Psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, and Rehabilitation Counseling Education.

Designed for highly motivated, career-oriented students, this program emphasizes the integration of applied research with faculty and practical experience in professional settings, in conjunction with traditional classroom activities. This gives you an advantage when applying for jobs or the graduate school of your choice.
